Coaching and Counselling was founded in 2007 with the initial aim of offering niche services in Trauma Counselling, Abuse, Life and Business Coaching to NGO’s. Subsequently Coaching and Counselling has expanded its services to corporate businesses and specialises in Business/Executive Coaching and Counselling for Corporate companies.

Business Coaching and Counselling has offices in Sea Point, and Blouberg, Western Cape where the company is headquartered, and has maintained an office in Hermanus, Cape Town, South Africa.

Counsellor & Psychotherapist

Liz Potgieter has a B Psych Honours Degree and is completing her MPhil in Business Coaching. She is a (Registered Counsellor with the HPCSA, Health Professional Council, meaning that you are able to claim medical benefits if applicable.)

She is an experienced group facilitator, Psychotherapist, Counsellor, and Life & Business Coach. She obtained her degree at the Midrand Graduate Institute in Johannesburg, South Africa, and has many years of facilitation skills as well as ten years of Business Management experience. A significant part of her work included counselling victims of violence at the Trauma Centre in Cape Town.

Potgieter’s vision is to provide Image, Life Style, Business Coaching and Counselling to organisations and people who are inundated in today’s society with many pressures, making it difficult to cope with day to day stresses that can impact on their general health, or life. Potgieter’s business coaching enables participants to manage their day with coping mechanisms, helping them to achieve their business and family goals and manage their daily lives.
